Shartney. Shourtney. Whatever you wanna label their "ship" as, this is still one of those things that the Smosh fandom keeps alive. Courtney Miller and Shayne Topp have both denied any kind of romantic relationship, but I have to admit that their chemistry is evident on-screen and just adds another layer whenever they are interacting. Viewed through that particular lens, the teasing and joking and playfulness can certainly be interpreted as Courtney and Shayne being unable to hide their feelings for each other and a mutual attraction that they share. It's flirty and fun and easy to run with.
And the rest of Smosh also doesn't shy away from it, either. they're frequently trolling by stoking the rumors and the apparent wishes of so many fans; to the point where if 'Shartney' ever did come out as a couple, people are gonna lose their fucking minds...
It's still entertaining.
