Segovia talks about flamenco and popular music and its influence on composers such as Granados, Albeniz. Segovia says that the guitar requires six hours of study a day. His favorite composer is Bach. He loves the transcripts from other instruments. Segovia recommended to play with nails but not to rip the strings. Scarlatti and Boccherini were very influenced by the guitar. Moreno Torroba said to be very concerned by the corrections of Segovia. Moreno Torroba speaks of when he sang some popular themes to Segovia. the Sonatina liked at Segovia so Torroba has made it. Segovia said that the best audience for the guitar is in Germany, where people are very cultured and educated. Segovia says that his successors will these guitarists: John Williams, Alirio Diaz, Alvaro Company, Oscar Ghiglia. Segovia's wife speaks of their too many trips to the concerts, receptions, and they would like a quiet life with their three dogs.
