Will this save TEKKEN 8? The trailer for Season 3 released, here's my reaction, commentary and review. The new characters are Japanese Ninja Girl Kunimitsu, fat American legend Bob, and Australian Boxing Kangaroo Roger. I think the Heat mechanic has ruined this fighting game. It has destroyed TEKKEN's signature flow and fluidity. Which is a pity, because this fighting game does something unique. Each button corresponds to a different limb (Left Arm, Right Arm, Left Leg, Right Leg), which gives you huge degree of nuanced control over your character. I can't think of any other fighting games that do this: Not Soul Caliber, Street Fighter or Mortal Kombat. Hopefully they remove this for TEKKEN 9
