The 5.3 "Squirter Project" all cleaned up!

Here's information that I've gathered on the budget 42# white top injectors.

These will fit LS1 type fuel rails. You can find them in junk yards. They come of 3.8 Supercharged Regals, ASA Corvette race engines and others.

Explanation of this project:
A water filled 5.3 experiment.

This was a 5.3 that I bought for my C10 but I quickly found that one bank was full of water when I pulled the plugs out and attempted to rotate it. It squirted water out across the garage. Two cylinders were rusted up and wouldn't rotate completely. I got a refund on the motor and was told to throw it away.

Before I tossed it, I came up with the "Squirter Project" idea and presented it the AG4L viewers. The viewers sponsor the project and it made for a fun time.

I sand papered the rust out of the cylinders without dissasembly and put the heads back on after milling them .045". I then ran it to see how it'd run. It ran so well that I slapped a 228/230 cam in it and dropped it into my '92 Camaro and drove it to LS Fest 2013. While there I got it on the dyno and made 330whp.
