The Upper Body Landmine Workout You NEED To Try!

If you're running push/pull supersets, you NEED to try this landmine variation. This includes the variation of the John Meadows row and Kneeling Overhead Press which will help you hit your back, shoulders, chest, and more.

- Meadows Row
- Setup:
- Drop same side leg out of way behind body as base of support
- Place flat of forearm on same side of knee
- Brace core
- Bend back knee to create tension
- Exercise:
- Grab end of bar with an overhand grip
- Row weight back and control down
- Move in towards barbell if you feel it getting away from you or vice versa
- Kneeling Overhead Press
- Setup:
- 1 knee up 1 knee down
- Grab barbell with same hand as knee on the ground
- Align with elbow and shoulder
- Keep other arm extended to the side for stabilization
- Brace core
- Exercise:
- Press overhead and come down slow
- Pretend like you’re doing an uppercut
- Should feel tension in your deltoid and serratus anterior
- Things to remember:
- Don’t rush tempo!
- Focus on using your core to maximize benefits
- Use a lighter weight to begin with
- Recommended 3 sets x 8-12 reps each side
- Don’t forget to train both sides with same intensity and control
