I Filmed Every Mile of the Continental Divide Trail

In 2019 I set out to walk from Mexico to Canada by way of the Continental Divide Trail, which stretches for around 3,000 miles from border to border. Along the way I filmed a short clip of every single mile and spliced those clips together to create this video.

To those who are interested in how I tracked my miles, I did so by using a Garmin Fenix 5X GPS enabled wristwatch. I set it to alarm at the passage of every mile, and I wore my camera on my pack-strap so that it was quickly accessible every 20 minutes or so. To the extent that it is possible, this video has remained true to one clip per mile walked--no more, and no less.
