The Veterans United Foundation Presents: A Wish For The Winklers

Army SGT Matt Winkler spent one of his last memories at Busch Stadium with his family by his side. After fighting sulfur fires in Afghanistan he was diagnosed with Leukemia and at only 33 years old, Matt passed away. After a hard-fought battle, Matt leaves behind his wife Amber and two beautiful children. Veterans United Foundation provided the Winklers with a handicap-accessible home to make Matt's last months easier, and a forever home for his family.
