iFi Zen Stack Review - Clean Quality

I previously owned the Zen DAC by iFi, and thought it was a pretty good value for the money if you only need USB and would like to have the variable volume pre-outs. However, I didn’t really enjoy the headphone amp that was built into the Zen DAC. That’s why I was pretty excited to try out the Zen DAC again, this time paired with iFi’s Zen CAN amplifier--a fully balanced amplifier that can be had for about $150 new… That means you can have a fully balanced “Zen Stack” for about $300--that seems like a pretty good bargain. How does it sound?
