Five yards short of certain death!!! Authentic buffalo hunt.

Tracking buffalo spoor after some summer rains is supposed to be a bit easier, but Cape buffalo can disappear very easily in thick brush. Armed with his Verney Carron 450/400 double, Jonty Walls follows buffalo spoor for one and a half day's and many miles, and then on the afternoon of day two he and George Potgieter bumps a huge old bull in a heard. The old warrior is not in a good mood, and it takes Jonty and George another full day on @SchoongezichtGameFarm to narrow the distance to get a clean shot. At 95 yards the bull falls down on the first shot, uttering the distinct buffalo death bellow.
The next moment the bull stands up, and with the whole heard following him, he heads straight towards the hunting party. Covering the distance of 90 yards within seconds, only to be stopped 5 yards short of where Jonty and George stood while firing the last shots.
The same fixed stare from the bull while charging, sends chills down everyone's spines as he attempts to get back to his feet....and some last well placed shots from George and Jonty rings through the African air to ensure the end of this extra ordanary death charge.
