Day 6 - Green Island Cairns Day Tour

We took a day tour from Cairns to Green Island with Great Adventures for a half-day adventure with snorkelling the Great Barrier Reef, exploring the Green Island National Park and rainforest walk and discovering some of the unique wildlife that lives on Green Island.

A Green Island tour is one of the most popular day trips from Cairns and is only a 45-minute boat ride from the Cairns Marina. You can spend just a few hours there or stay longer at Green Island Resort.

This is an incredible place to snorkel and we even spotted a small shark from the beach in a secluded area of Green Island. So COOL!
