Proto Tech Tip - Jog and Material Offset Bends
Every week, Team Protocase is bringing you a Proto Tech Tip video, where we'll give an informative look at a particular aspect of sheet metal fabrication and CNC Machining.
This week, Cody talks about jog and material offset bends. These bends consist of two bends that are placed in close proximity to each other in order to raise the surface of the metal. Jog and material offset bends are useful when designing an offset lid that fits inside of a base, or for adding clearance to a design when you need to bypass a certain piece of geometry.
