Natural Dyeing | Rhubarb + Silk:
It is truly beautiful to color fabric with natural ingredients. I bought rhubarb at this herb store in Chinatown in Vancouver a few months ago. In my opinion, the most accessible method among different natural dyeing processes is dip-dyeing. Boil water with dried herbs in it, pour the dye bath in a clean bowl and put the pre-moisturized fabric inside it. After dipping the fabric in the dye bath, rinse the fabric with cold water and dry it under shade. Repeat the steps if you want deeper, richer color result.
