- palpate the brachial artery
- place the stethoscope over the brachial artery
- reinflate the cuff 20 - 30 mmHg above the approximate systolyc blood pressure
- slowly deflate 2 mmhg / seconde
- lsten for the first KOROTOKOFF sound this is the systolyc blood pressure
- when the pulsatile noise diispeare this is the diastolic blood pressure or the 5 th KOROTOKOFF
- rechak in the other arm
