Kalei lives up the road from us and stopped by after work for a quick recording of some recent ideas. This one is from the young girl from New Zealand, Lorde. Super cool new artist and I think Kalei did a killer job on solo uke. He taps out the beat on his uke looping with his Digitech JamMan. Then layers it out in his own style ...ukulele-awesomeness I suppose it would be called. Speaking of which, I really wanna give due props to this young man.
I am SUPER impressed with the production and sound of Kalei's new Christmas Album, I am not normally one to pop in some Christmas music, but this is just sweet jazzy ukulele really nicely done. go listen to this at iTunes.
