Making natural sandstone copings for an oak porch.

In this video, I show the process of making coping stones for an oak porch using red sandstone. The process starts with sawing the red sandstone out of quarry blocks in our yard in Wrexham. Once the rough blocks are cut to size, they are then taken to the banker workshop where they are shaped using a combination of power tools and hand tools. The final step is to carefully shape the coping stones to match the contours of the oak porch they will be installed on. This is a true testament to the hard work and craftsmanship that goes into creating beautiful and functional coping stones using natural red sandstone.
