2021 Benelli 350S QJ350 - Teaser Video

The new Qianjiang QJ 350, which could be rebranded as the Benelli 350S for select markets, has been revealed through a new set of photographs. We may also see underpinnings and the engine from the Chinese naked-roadster on Harley-Davidson’s upcoming, entry-level motorcycle, the HD350. In fact, the motorcycle features “Harley-Davidson Motor Company” branding on the engine cover.

The QJ 350 looks quite similar to its 600cc sibling, the SRK 600 roadster that was unveiled earlier this year. The front fascia packs a twin-pod headlight that’s surrounded by a body-coloured mask. The fuel tank extensions add a muscular look to the styling while the split-style seats add to its sportiness.

The hardware on the motorcycle comprises of upside-down telescopic front forks and asymmetrically mounted rear mono-shock to perform the suspension duties. Anchoring power comes from twin rotors at the front and a single disc at the back. The motorcycle also packs a digital instrument cluster, LED blinkers, underbelly exhaust and a rear-fender mounted numberplate setup. Surprisingly, the rear fender carries a Benelli badge.

The power and torque output numbers are yet to be revealed, although it is clear that the motor will feature a parallel twin-cylinder, liquid-cooled setup. The displacement could be close to 350cc.

It will be safe to assume that the Harley-Davidson product will feature a completely different look than the Chinese motorcycle in the images. Expect the entry-level Harley-Davidson to pack retro-styling instead of a modern-day roadster look.
