Mahyar Tousi: I received death threats over my reaction to protests

Conservative YouTuber Mahyar Tousi has said he received death threats in response to his criticism of recent anti-racism protests.

Speaking to talkRADIO’s Mike Graham, he said: “It’s been absolutely crazy. From my perspective, over the last couple of days I’ve received a number of death threats and the Met Police are on the case for some of them because some of them are quite serious.”

Mr Tousi said he had been to Parliament Square to clean up after activists, where he saw others attempting to wash graffiti off of Winston Churchill’s memorial.

During the demonstrations over the weekend, someone had written “was a racist” under the name of the World War Two Prime Minister.

Mr Tousi also accused the British police of being “too soft”, adding: “It’s the senior management and senior teams who over the last couple of decades have become so woke.”
