Drag Screaming! Mackerel Land Based Lure Fishing at Redcliffe

The weather in Brisbane has been fairly unpredictable. This morning was no different, with strong winds predicted. Nonetheless, I needed my fishing fix for the week. I used the Rapala X-Rap XR8 Slashbait as I had good success with it before. However, being a shallow diver, I wasn't sure how it would perform in the deep water at the rock wall in Clontarf, Redcliffe. After many casts, persistence paid off and I was rewarded with a nice unexpected catch.
