BMW 530d xDrive MHEV (Mild Hybrid): trip with fuel economy consumption test l/100 km mpg :: 1001cars

I made the fuel consumption (economy) test during first driving of all new BMW 530d xDrive 2020/2021 Touring (3.0 l R6 turbo diesel with 210 kW, 286 HP, 650 Nm) Steptronic. This car has the Mild Hybrid system (MHEV) with 48 V additional electric starter-generator which allows to sail with combustion engine switched off. I finished the trip where I started - exact the same place. Enjoy! :)

Result without highway: 5.1 l/100 km (46.1 mpg US; 55.4 mpg UK) and 30% / 28% of the time/distance with combustion engine switched off.

Result INCLUDING highway: 5.4 l/100 km (43.6 mpg US; 52.3 mpg UK) and 25% / 21% of the time/distance with combustion engine switched off.
