Dream Theater - The Astonishing (single CD album edit)

This is my 80 minute edit of the latest Dream Theater album.
Edits:
- "Dystopian Ovetrure" contains excerpt from "Descent of the Nomacs" (the intro)
- "Lord Nafaryus" contains excerpt from "A Savior in the Square" (the outro that segues into the next song)
- "Act of Faythe" has the orchestral intro removed
- "A Life Left Behind" contains excerpt from "1285 Entr'acte" (the ending that segues into "Moment of Betrayal"; to match the key of all these songs I did a pitch shift for the last section of "ALLB")
- "A New Beginning" contains excerpt from "Digital Discord" at the very end - this one may seem unnecessary but I just didn't want it to be the only song that fades out for no apparent reason, plus I wanted to include at least one sample of the Nomacs sound)
- "Our New World" contains excerpt from "A Savior in the Square" (the intro), though i had to remove a few bars to make the album fit into the 80 minute format of a single CD.

The order of some songs is changed to make the album "flow" better musically (I was trying to avoid having more than 3 "heavy" tracks in a row or more than 2 ballads in a row). It may disrupt the storyline, especially having "Chosen" and "A New Beginning" near the end of the album, but I've decided that "A New Beginning" is just too epic to have it somewhere in the middle of the album. I am also aware that some important songs plotwise are missing ("Ravenskill", "A Tempting Offer", the title track) but I felt that musically they don't offer that much as those I've finally decided to include. One exception may be "Begin Again" but that was the obligatory 'breather' between "MoB" and the 3 following heavy tracks.
