Fatal Collision on Galveston Rd: Two Killed in Crash Involving Silver Sedan and Pickup Truck

INCIDENT DATE/TIME: 5-8-24 / 8:19 pm
LOCATION: 5299 Galveston Rd
AREA/CITY: Houston
DETAILS:
A silver vehicle was reportedly attempting to make a left turn from Timber Creek Dr onto Galveston Rd.
At the same time a truck was traveling southbound on Galveston Rd and struck the silver vehicle.
Both vehicles came to a stop over 100 ft from the intersection.
There were two occupants in both vehicles: a driver and a passenger.
The silver sedan occupants were both pronounced deceased at the scene.
The two occupants in the pickup truck are between the ages of 17-19 and were both transported by ambulance in unknown condition.
It’s unknown if speed was a factor, that will be part of the investigation.
