MATERIALS:
Canvas: 16x20 stretched primed canvas
Brushes: 1/2 inch flat bristle brush, #8 round, #1 round brush
Acrylic Paint: titanium white, cobalt blue, mars black, chrome yellow, fire red, green oxide, burnt umber (brown)
Other: #2 pencil, cup of water for washing brushes, paper towel for drying brushes

STEPS:
1. #2 pencil - Outline the fish
2. 1/2 inch bristle brush - Paint the water with blue, green and white
3. #8 round brush - Paint first layer of fish with white and brown
4. #8 round brush - Paint fins and whiskers with white and brown
5. #8 round brush - Paint lily pads with white, green and yellow
6. #1 round brush - Finish fish with red, yellow, black and white
7. #8 round brush - Paint lotus flowers with white, yellow and red
8. #1 round brush - Signature with black

CRANBERRY OATMEAL COOKIE RECIPE
Makes 16 COOKIES / Prep time 10 minutes / Cook time 10 minutes

INGREDIENTS
• 1 large egg
• 1/2 cup unsalted butter (1 stick), very soft
• 1/2 cup light brown sugar, packed
• 1/4 cup granulated sugar
• 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
• 1 1/2 cups old-fashioned whole rolled oats (not instant or quick cook)
• 3/4 cup all-purpose flour
• 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
• 1/2 teaspoon salt, or to taste
• 1 cup dried cranberries

INSTRUCTIONS
1. Preheat oven to 350F, line a baking sheet with a Silpat or spray with cooking spray; set aside.
2. To a large bowl, mix together the the egg, butter, sugars and vanilla.
3. Add the oats, flour, baking soda, salt, cranberries and stir to combine.
4. Using a 2-tablespoon cookie scoop, form mounds and place on prepared baking sheet spaced about 2 inches apart.
5. Bake for about 10 to 13 minutes (shorter for super soft cookies, longer for more well-done cookies), don’t over-bake. Cookies firm up as they cool.
6. Allow cookies to cool on baking sheet for about 10 minutes before serving.
