Mala beads are very helpful for practicing mantra meditation or repetitive affirmation and visualization. There are different malas but it usually has 108 beads. Shorter versions have 27 and 21 beads.
Find a comfortable space, focus on your breath and choose your technique.
If you don't have the right affirmation at your fingertips, there are a few examples you can choose from:
- I am true to myself.
- I accept what I can not change.
- I make the best of any opportunity.
- I love and accept others.
- I am one with the universe.
- I forgive all of my foes.
- I make progress in everything I do.
- I follow my deepest dreams.
- The past has no power over me anymore.
Although, its best to choose mantras or affirmations aligned with your personal needs.
