The Ottawa Hospital Emergency Department Virtual Tour for Learners (Civic Campus)

Dr. Meg Wilson, Undergraduate Elective Director, gives a tour of the Civic Campus Emergency Department of The Ottawa Hospital. https://med.uottawa.ca/emergency/

This 360 virtual tour is designed for clerkship students, visiting elective students, visiting and off-service residents at The Ottawa Hospital. Objectives: At the end of this virtual tour, learners will be able to:
- Navigate to and through different areas of the emergency department (Urgent Care, Observation, Emergent Care, Resuscitation and Offload);
- Characterize the typical patient population in each ED area; - Identify which computers and desks are designated for learner use.
- Locate key equipment, such as PACS stations, suture trays and casting material.
