ITV4 is gearing for its first cycling event of 2021 with this year's edition of Paris-Nice.
The 79th edition of Paris-Nice sets off from Saint-Cyr-l'École on Sunday 7 March to finish in Nice on Sunday the 14th. This year's highlights in terms of the GC are an ITT on the third day, while stage 4 serves a trying race with an finish uphill.

Last year's race was cut short due to the growing issue of the global pandemic but this year returns with a stacked field, star sprinters Arnaud Demare, Sam Bennett and Pascal Ackermann as well as the best one week racer in the world Primoz Roglic and last year's Giro d'Italia winner, Tao Geoghegan Hart.

In this video Lanterne Rouge recaps the exciting Stage 2 of Paris-Nice last year, where crosswinds wreaked havoc on the field for the last hour of the stage, with Bora-Hansgrohe lead by Peter Sagan able to extend Max Schachmann's lead on GC - never to be relinquished.
