Lenny goes over this version of ikkyo several times as well as showing a few variations. This proves right here that aikido practical applications are real and that the youtube troll comments of aikido is fake is false. When applied practically aikido in ufc will work, dispite what joe rogan claims. So aikido doesn't work, NO it does. Although you have to be skilled enough to understand what does work and how it will work and what won't work. So basically if you train in aikido techniques and you don't have or can't figure out how to use them practically for TODAYS world, then you are clearly wasting your time on aikido bullshido. Take what works and perfect it and discard what doesn't, it's as simple as that!
