Now, the other thing you can do to avoid exposure to acetone on your skin is to use cuticle oil around your nails before you apply the cotton that is soaked in the acetone. Okay, I do recommend you use 100 acetone if you can get it. However, if you want to go the extra step, you can get a condition acetone, like soya. You can get a condition acetone with some oils to protect your skin from further dehydration or even the nails.

If you don’t have that, cuticle oil is perfectly fine to protect your skin from the acetone, especially this uh eponychium and side walls of the nail here.
