49. Nearly Capsized my Narrowboat TWICE! Leicester

I head south towards the city of Leicester. I went through a lock where a volunteer was on hand to help me. However, I got chatting to him and my centre line, that was connected to my narrowboat, got tighter and tighter.

The rope had wrapped around itself and started to pull the roof of Alice over. The boat listed heavily so we quickly needed to stop the filling of the lock and empty it a bit to re-level the water. Scary moments but all was okay and I travelled down through Leicester city.
