Woolworths 'disrespectful' to 'vast majority' of Australians amid merchandise decision
Liberal MP Garth Hamilton says Woolworths is being disrespectful to the "vast majority" of Australians who look forward to Australia Day and like to celebrate it.
Mr Hamilton discussed the matter with Sky News host Andrew Bolt and history lecturer and author Dr Stephen Chavura.
“The idea that pushing this political agenda, and let’s be very clear – that’s what they’re doing," Mr Hamilton told Mr Bolt.
“Not being respectful, pushing a political point of view.
"Why do they have the power to distract people lie this? It’s because of the duopoly that they’re in.”
