A YouTube listener writes "Such a beautiful voice, all songs delivered with a full heart." and here Ramon Remedios brings such warmth and heart to these songs, not to mention a lovely legato. I hope they bring you as much pleasure as I found, despite the varying sound quality and recording conditions..
In St Ann's, Rainhill, Ramon introduces The Old House as “Special, very special”. It 's a tribute to his Mother and Father,, and to a happy childhood in the area with the family, which of course includes his brother, the tenor, Alberto Remedios.
My grateful thanks to Jackie Remedios, who kindly made these recordings available.
