When I look back over the past 8 years of my life I don't recognize the woman I was and this piece of art commission for me by my beautiful client Jill Renee Stevens created by Joan Marie captures the true essence of who I've always been.

It is powerful when the people who love you offer a mirror to see yourself as they see you.

8 years ago I would have been unwilling to receive this.

Today I honor the work I've done on myself, the work I do in the world and the impact I'm making and will continue to make.

Live your life unapologetically.
Create a vision for yourself and your life that makes you proud and excited to get out of bed in the morning.
Find a purpose that is greater than your fears and insecurities.
Spend time every day getting to know yourself better.

The world is asking that we all wake up and look at what is important.

How much longer are you going to grind out your life?

What more needs to happen before you make yourself a priority (since that "time" excuse doesn't apply these days...)

8 years ago I was in the middle of a personal crisis that flipped my entire life upside down. I didn't have the time, money or resources to deal with it but I leaned in and figured it out. I didn't let the circumstances stop me and used them to fuel me.
Today that experience is the one I am most grateful for.
