Indian cricket superstar Virat Kohli, along with his wife Anushka Sharma, paid a visit to Hanuman Garhi Temple in Ayodhya to seek blessings. Despite a large crowd, the star couple managed to pray peacefully, fold their hands in front of the deity, and found a moment of spiritual calm.
After the prayers, a temple priest offered them a garland and applied a tilak on their foreheads, blessing Kohli by placing his hand on his head. The video of their temple visit is now viral on social media.
Just a day before, on May 12, Kohli had officially announced his retirement from Test cricket, and the very next day, the couple visited Premanand Maharaj in Vrindavan for blessings. Kohli had earlier also visited Neem Karoli Baba’s ashram.
