Messiah Overcame (2020 Graduation with Virtual Choir)

I dedicate this project to all of my people....
There are SOOO many wonderful humans that I am incredibly forever grateful for in my life. My super hero, Joshua Horner whose strong arms held my weary hand so I could finish the race, my amazing kiddos who supported me every minute with hugs and smiles and cheers, my parents Carmella Johnson and Arthur Johnson who got me on this journey from the beginning and never gave up on me. Charles Johnson and Rachel Burke Horner for being so supportive and helpful with my kids. Emily Thornhill, Valarie Coburn and Nick/Sierra Horner for helping me keep my head up. My BFF Carrie Harbridge who loves the mountains and trees as much as I do and encourages me, like....EVERY DAY.... my dearest mentor, pastor, and friend K. Scott Bullman for guiding me patiently and helping me look up when frustration overwhelmed, and making me feel like one of his own. David Hahn for remembering that I write songs and awakening my spirit to a side of me that I never knew would exist, Don Marsh for showing me how to orchestrate, Lorie Collins Marsh for guiding me and pushing me to be a better writer and prayer warrior. Mindy-Doug Damon for taking my loud, crazy voice, turning me into a songbird, and always championing for me. Mike Harland for giving me a chance to shine for Jesus. Preston May, Aaron Stewart, Alyssa May, Becky Stanton, for being my adult friends that loved and encouraged me in all areas of life, and made me laugh! John Thomas, Aimee Rose Hammerly,Joey Watson, Katherine Holloway Morehouse (BATO), Kyle Bailey (yay theory!), Cassandra Hibbard (musicianship), John Werking (Piano), Daniel-Gloria Suttles (conducting - my new favorite thing to do), Tad Hardin (handbells!! haha and more conducting) Nathan Zwald and his insane song editing skills and encouragement, and Dr. Vernon M. Whaley for believing in me, even 15 years ago. There are SOOOO many other friends that touched my life during this season at Liberty University. I hate starting to name names because I know I'll forget someone on the list, but I will NEVER forget the people who blessed me.
