Hello everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a look at this Furrion RV tankless gas, water heater with a the 60,000 BTU capacity. Now this tankless water heater will provide hot water on demand in your RV. So with this water heater you'll not be caught without hot water. Again, basically this tankless water heater has a heating capacity of 2.4 gallons per minute. So you'll have an instantaneous and consistent supply of hot water without having to wait for a tank to fill.

So what's nice is if your family wants to take multiple showers while you're doing the dishes or washing clothes in the camper won't be a problem. This unit allows you to perform multiple functions at once and continue to produce hot water on demand. Also what's nice is you won't waste money heating up water in a tank that may never be used. And you also don't want to have to wait hours in between each person taking a shower for that water to warm up again. Also this connects to LP gas and that gas power will keep the hot water flowing when you're off the grid and with powerful 60,000 BTU this unit heats fast and performs effortlessly.

Even when the temperature drops to 32 degrees Fahrenheit I want to zoom in on it. Just talk about a few things. Now this water heater does not include the front access door which will go on the front right here. It offers three different door sizes and the door size will depend on the size that you need for your application. So we do sell the doors separately.

They'll come in a small a medium and a large size door, and we do sell those. They're listed on this product page. As related products, they'll be a part number fr43fr, fr63fr, and fr73fr. And what's nice is when you do install the door on this it can also easily be removed to access the inside of the water heater. This water heater offers dual over temperature sensors which automatically shut the power off.

If the water temperature exceeds the safe limit. I spin it around to the back. I wanted to show you there's the connections in the back and right down here you can see this blue cap on the connection. That's the cold water inlet. That's a half inch NPT fitting that'll connect there right up here is the red cap. That's the hot water outlet connection. That also is a half inch NPT connection. And then right down here in the corner it's marked your LP gas inlet. That's where you hook your gas up to. Now this little tank here, but this does this is offers a vortex system. And what it will do is mix your hot and cold water to eliminate fluctuations and reduce the risk of hot water scalding. Also on the wall where the hot water outlet is on the very back of it, that you use a safety valve on this. And this allows the pressure to vent at 87 PSI to prevent excess pressure and heat build up. This is a nice reinforced construction, resist vibration and shock during travel. Now also it comes with this water heater is this nice wall mounted controller that will let you adjust the water temperature by degrees. It does use white LEDs which will display temperature time and water pressure. And it has an alarm that will alert you when the pressure is too low. It does also come with this nice manual. That'll describe how everything hooks up and how it operates. Now to install this, the mounting hardware is not included. You would have to supply that to you. A few specs on this the voltage again is 12 volts DC, heating capacity is 13,000 to 60,000 BTU, does use an automatic pilot ignition and the temperature settings. The range is 95 degrees Fahrenheit to 124 degrees Fahrenheit. The default on it is 115 degrees Fahrenheit. It shuts off at 149 degrees Fahrenheit. Weight on this unit is about 28 pounds. And the last thing I wanted to do is let me zoom in again we're going to do some overall dimensions. So if we do the depth of it and the depth is going to be measured from the front here all the way to the very back portion. So if we put our ruler on that you can see that it's going to be right at 19 1/8 inches deep. And the height of it from the very bottom to the very top is 12 5/8 inches tall. And the width of it is going to be the same 12 5/8 inches wide, but that should do it for the review on this Furrion RV tankless gas water heater with the 60,000 BTU capacity..
