Fidji Simo Personally Responds To Instacart Shopper- BOTS Aggressively Soliciting

In today's video Fidji Simo responds to an Instacart Shopper regarding shopper feedback. I am sharing Fidji Simo's entire response which addresses batch payments, ratings and BOTS.
Also, Instacart BOTS are being solicited on all social media platforms, including YouTube. Watch today's video to see a BOT seller use my name along with another YouTuber to tug at the heartstrings of shoppers.

Here is part of the email this Instacart Shopper sent to Instacart (Fidji Simo) stating her concerns and feedback:

Over the past couple of months, a lot of states including my own have seen a drastic decrease in batches and payout for batches. I have gone weeks at a time not seeing any batches pop up at all and I'm driving to different areas and stores in hopes of getting something. This has put me into a situation where I am not earning enough to pay my bills or feed my family, and that brings me back to the memories of my father telling me to always have food in your home so you can feed your family. I have gone to making $500 a week to $11.05 a week and $20.50 a week. I understand that I'm an independent contractor but I see this as my full time job. So if something is going on with the company I think its only right to let the shoppers be aware of it, because I understand that the customers are the top priority, but the shoppers should be as well. Without us, this company wouldn't keep going.

For my feedback, I like that the rating system has gone to a thumbs up and thumbs down rating at that we aren't being punished for getting a 4 star rating anymore. I do thing that "Finding Items" shouldn't be apart of the rating system however, because if the store is out of stock of an item, thats a distribution problem and shoppers shouldn't be rated for that. We also have a huge problem right now with BOTS, taking higher paying batches before anyone else can get them because these people are paying someone to hack the system and cheat. That's not fair to those of us who work hard to get batches and provide excellent service to the shopper. Another issue that we are seeing it the batch payout has drastically dropped and customers aren't tipping. Some customers tip $1, some tip change and some don't tip at all. This is making it difficult for shoppers to make ends meet when batches are paying out so low and then going weeks at a time with no batches showing up at all.

I strive to help people, to provide excellent service to them. I have retail management experience, I know how important that is to keep a business running.
