In the final chapter PASIÓN , I am performing Danzón by Paquito D'Rivera. I met Paquito a couple of years ago at a party after his amazing performance in New York. We have stayed in touch since. I love his music, so I asked him to send me some of his favorite works. He sent me one piece in which my ensemble Classical Jam performed, and he also sent me Danzón. I fell in the love with the piece right away and knew that I had to record it.

In this final chapter, the character Sona goes to Florence, Italy. I won't tell you the ending of the story, but it is certainly how I feel about life right now - filled with hope, happiness, and a positive expectation for the future. Danzón is the perfect piece to go along with the ending of an epic.

PASIÓN is a visual album in 12 chapters featuring the music of tango, bossa nova, and Spanish classical music. Filmed across the Mediterranean and my hometown, New York City, it is my musical journey through love, betrayal, and redemption.
