If sewing is your hobby, then let it be your hobby.

As someone dedicated to creating a sustainable wardrobe, I sometimes find myself being overly critical for not sewing every single piece of clothing I own. But that’s intentional—sewing is my hobby, and just because I can sew it doesn’t mean I have to sew it.

I don’t make everything in my wardrobe, like jeans, underwear, or activewear, because I don’t enjoy sewing those types of garments. Instead, I choose to buy sustainable options that align with my values.

This way, I stay true to my conscious consumer mindset while reserving my sewing time for projects I genuinely love.
