Why You're Probably NOT Neurodivergent | Revisiting Neurodiversity

There's been a lot of interest in the concept of neurodiversity and it's been used pretty broadly recently. Many people ask me why explanations about it are so vague or why they commonly can't get a straight answer about whether they are considered neurodivergent. So, today, we're going to outline what constitutes as neurodivergent as well as engage in a conversation about neurodiversity and some criticisms.

In this video, I explore research and information regarding the origin of the concept of neurodiversity, what it implies, related research, and share my own thoughts on neurodiversity. I also help to interpret more confusing academic language into understandable, yet still accurate and detailed, language for the average person looking to understand more.
