Kim Kardashian posted a $500,000 bond to secure the release of Richard Glossip, a former Oklahoma death row prisoner who is awaiting a new trial after nearly 30 years behind bars .

Glossip, 63, was convicted for the 1997 murder of his boss, Barry Van Treese, but the U.S. Supreme Court vacated his conviction in 2025 after finding prosecutors allowed a witness to knowingly give false testimony .
