The Light of the World Is Jesus

I thought of this song last week a couple of days before halloween, thinking of how dark that day of the year can feel and this song seemed like a good one - how the darkness of evil can be overcome by the light of the world that is Jesus.
I also did things a little differently with this video in that I decided to record the audio in my little studio instead of doing a live video/audio recording and there were a couple of reasons for that. First, I can use my more favored microphones and room for recording, doing a bit better job than live. And second, doing the video as words with pictures seems less distracting or shall we say less focused on me the musician. It seems that a lot of people like to see the words right on the screen with the type of songs I do and doing simple pictures made it feel more like a worship time for the viewer, which is what I want to encourage with the music anyway. I'd like people to be able to sit down and not just be entertained, but become participants and if I can be less distracting by not being in the video, that may be a better choice. Not that I won't ever do live recordings or capture myself in future videos, but thought I'd just try a different format. :-)
