Is my dog "doing too much" during play?

Sure your dog is friendly, but is it going over the top to being “rude”???

What did I do about this? I removed my dog. For a year. Until Diego was better able to handle himself. He means well. ♥️

What can his dad do to help??

Work on over arousal, which is what you’re seeing. He can redirect to a tug toy or a game that’s structured. He can also scatter food to help Diego calm down!
