MY FLIGHT TO ALASKA - 1960
Fifty-six years ago, in 1960, I flew a single engine Piper Tri-pacer
airplane from Dayton, Ohio to Alaska and back. At that time Alaska
really was America's "Last Frontier" and was very primitive. I created
the following video from the 8 mm analog movie film and 35 mm slides
that I took back than which I converted to digital video. Consequently
the picture quality is of low quality by today’s standards.
