This is the Corinth Canal, gateway to the Mythical Peloponnese region of Greece 🇬🇷

This liquid path, hewn from towering limestone walls, welcomes to you to this legendary region of mountain gems and coastal jewels.

Surprisingly, the Canal isn’t an ancient landmark – it opened in 1893.

You can watch boats proceed in a single straight line about 4 miles (6.4 km) long,

Cheer on the bold tourists bungee jumping from the bridge we’re standing on.

And pop into the Tourist Information Center with friendly staff.

Last year, Paul and I (Marilee) traveled the Peloponnese extensively on a grand adventure to discover Greece’s hidden gems.

On this year's expeditions in Greece, we simply couldn’t resist Mythical Peloponnese’s whispers:
