Bach/Siloti Prelude in B minor played by Andrew Thayer

I just got a new pair of OM1 mics from line audio, which pick up a whole lot more nuance than on previous recordings.

Years ago I played this in a competition and the adjudicator complained that I didn't bring out the melody enough the first time around. However, the tradition for playing this way comes from Siloti himself. Although the original published score doesn't contain a repeat, he deliberately concealed the melody the first time, before bringing it out the 2nd time around. I've made quite a few subtle changes to the score that are loosely based on those made by Emil Gilels.
