DWM LP08 Artillery Luger

A brief discussion about the use of these incredible firearms in the first world war, and a bit of shooting my example. Using the shoulder stock, the artillery crews were able to engage attacking cavalry at longer distances than they could with a pistol alone. I would imagine not having to lug a rifle around when your primary objective is to keep your crew serviced machine gun or artillery piece running, would be a great benefit. Today, it's an interesting conversation piece and an intriguing bit of history.

My grandfather was a fairly serious collector and this Luger was one of his collection. I picked up the C-96 later.
