Kondana Caves

Kondana Caves – A group of 16 caves located southeast of Mumbai in India.
Created around the 1st century BC. Officially considered Buddhist temples.
For the temple, the caves have an unusual entrance.
Inside there are absolutely empty rooms.
The walls are decorated with carvings and figures of men and women.
According to scientific data, these masterpieces were created from scratch in stone, using the most primitive tools.
