Nordlicht I hits a major milestone: 1st massive transition pieces are finalized ahead of schedule

An exciting milestone - The first massive monopiles and transition pieces for Germany’s largest offshore wind park have now been successfully manufactured – and ahead of schedule. This milestone highlights the excellent collaboration with our partners EEW Group and CS WIND Offshore and marks a strong start as we move toward offshore construction later this year.

The Nordlicht cluster, consisting of the Nordlicht I and II wind parks, is one of Europe’s most significant energy investments, set to deliver more than 1.6 GW of fossil-free capacity once operational. The project will enhance Europe’s energy security, support industrial decarbonisation, and provide reliable, fossil-free power to homes and businesses.
