MASSIVE Dump Warzone

The title is not referring to the Ubisoft studio that trashed The Division 2.

Something about the game I still don't understand. As a free to play player there are weapons you can't really unlock during Plunder or Warzone so why doesn't buying a blueprint automatically unlock the gun?
