Inaugurating 11 new medical colleges and a new campus of Central Institute of Classical Tamil in Tamil Nadu, PM Modi said that health of the society was being furthered and at the same time our connection with our culture was getting stronger. Speaking about his fascination for Tamil language, PM Modi said, "One of the happiest moments of my life was when I got a chance to speak a few words in the world’s oldest language, Tamil, at the United Nations.”
