Mooting and Debating Club (MDC) Moot and Arbitration Demo

The Mooting and Arbitration Demonstration features three current students from the Class of 2022. Aarya Berthier moots on the law pertaining to fiduciary duties and sexual assault for the B.A. Mallal Moot 2019. Yeoh Su-Jane and Jerald Tan address key international arbitration issues such as the jurisdictional defence of corruption and state obligations with respect to fair and equitable treatment as part of the Asian Law Students Association International Moot Court Competition 2019, held in Thailand in September 2019. Through this, MDC hopes to give prospective students a taste of what a moot entails, at both the domestic and international levels.
